We are a family owned childcare centre in Craigie that believes children should benefit from being a part of our community and exploring all that it has to offer. We are open 7am – 6pm, Monday to Friday.

“Craigie Early Learning Centre acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land from which we educate, the Wadjak Noongar people. We pay respects to Elders past, present and emerging and are grateful from the highest heights of the skies to the deepest depths of the ocean for their ongoing contributions to community and Country."
All children have the right to feel safe, nurtured and cared for. We respect the rights of each child, their freedom of expression, and recognise each child as a unique citizen of the world, capable of creating instrumental change. We know each child is a diverse and remarkable individual and therefore believe it is our responsibility to nurture them to flourish in ways that are most authentic to them.
Our little people have the right to feel joy every day; to feel blissfully unencumbered to explore and engage with the little wonders of the world as well as large-scale global events, to celebrate with and be celebrated, to be giggly and free. This immersive approach to joy and play encourages us to collectively imagine and reimagine happiness in all moments with our little people, as they are truly the experts of fun.
It takes a village to raise a child and our villages look and function in myriad ways. We value, celebrate and rely upon the expertise and diversity of families and their villages to guide us to best support our little people. All of our children, their villages of care, and wider community, are treated with love, appreciation and respect regardless of race, gender or religion.
During their time with us, little people are treasured and supported by a carefully curated team of experts. Each of our experts work to their strengths and are engaged in their own ongoing learning journeys to ensure we are always able to educate our little people in new and diverse ways.
Progettazione, in partnership with our reconciliation action plan, underpins our approach to practice and our little people’s learning journeys. It has been researched, designed, and curated via learnings from renowned theorists such as Loris Malaguzzi, the Reggio Emilia approach as well as the expertise of our reconciliation village.
Connection to our community and Country is a priority and has ensured ongoing support to allow us, and our little people, continued growth. The value we place on these connections means that we continue to uphold a collective ethical responsibility to learn and take action together with our capable little people when caring for our earth. Our children have an intrinsic connectedness to the earth and all living things and show a great capacity to care, and an even greater capacity to enact positive change. The sustainability pledges we have created in partnership with our children guide our daily practices. Through inquiry and dialogue with our children, educators, families and community, we aim for each of our steps forward to be greener than the last.
Most importantly, we love and cherish the little people we have the privilege of caring for and we thank you for allowing us to provide them with their home away from home.
It is essential for children to explore and discover themselves in order to grow. This is something we actively encourage and promote through our regular community interactions that are conducted in a safe and carefully managed way.
We are constantly expanding the range of services offered, taking care of children of all ages. Our goal is to carefully educate and develop children in a fun way. We strive to turn the learning process into a bright event so that children study with pleasure.
